Gregor Vellacher - Managing Director

My responsibilities:
I make sure there is always enough coffee in the coffee machine and that our board of directors' strategy is implemented accordingly. If I have a free hour here and there, I also work as a snow sports instructor.

My winter tip:
Conquer one of the many mountain peaks in the region around Bivio on skis and skins. Which tour is the best? Simply book a ski tour with me and I'll show you.

Marco Pontiggia - Technical Director

My responsibilities:
In winter, I am responsible for all technical aspects of skiing operations in Bivio: I make snow for the slopes, organize lift operations, and manage the ski patrol. My goal is to ensure that our guests can enjoy safe and perfectly groomed slopes—from their first turn to their last run.

During the summer months, I take care of the maintenance of the lift facilities and all technical equipment. I carefully record all work – because safety and reliability are my top priorities.

My winter tip:
If you're still craving something sweet after a day of skiing in Bivio, be sure to stop by the Hotel Guidon – the desserts there are highly recommended. For me, it's the perfect end to a successful day in the snow.

Roland Giovanoli - Operations employee

My activities:
My work is very varied. In summer, I work on servicing the ski lifts and snow groomers. In winter, I'm out and about on the ski slopes, winter hiking trails, and cross-country ski trails with the Pistenbully. When we're doing construction work, I also enjoy sitting at the controls of the excavator.

My winter tip:
Spend an hour as a co-pilot preparing the slopes in the Pistenbully. Would you like to discover the ski resort at a different time of year? Then book a Pistenbully ride with me.
