Gregor Vellacher - Managing Director
My tasks:
I make sure there’s always enough coffee in the coffee machine and that the strategy of our Board of Directors is correspondingly implemented. And if I have a free hour here and there, I also work as a snow sports instructor.
My winter tip:
Conquer one of the many mountain peaks in the region around Bivio on skis and skins. As to which tour is the best? Simply book a ski tour with me and I’ll show you!
Marco Pontiggia - Technical Manager
My tasks:
In winter, I’m responsible for the operation of the ski lifts, snowmaking on the pistes and for the piste rescue service.
In summer, I carry out the pending maintenance work on the ski lifts and in the entire ski resort and take care of all the maintenance documentation.
My winter tip:
In the morning, take the first T-bar lift right to the top for the privilege of making the very first tracks on the freshly prepared slopes.
Valeria Tumler - Administration
My tasks:
My main tasks include taking care of any guest concerns in person at the ticket counter, by phone and by email. I provide our guests with advice about our offers in the ski resort and the snow sports school. My work is very multi-faceted and diverse.
My winter tip:
A trip with our special Pistenbock toboggans is definitely worth the experience. The T-bar lift takes you from the valley station to Camon, where the 2 kilometre-long toboggan run begins.
Roland Giovanoli - Operations staff
My tasks:
My work is very diverse. In summer it involves inspecting the ski lifts and slope maintenance vehicles. In winter, I’m out and about with the PistenBully snow groomer on the ski slopes, winter hiking trails and cross-country ski trails. If we’re ever constructing something, you’ll also find me driving the digger.
My winter tip:
An hour as a co-pilot in the PistenBully helping prepare the slopes. Do you feel like discovering the ski resort in other moments? Then book a ride in the PistenBully with me.
