Swiss Snow League
The Bivio Snowsports School is a member of the Swiss Snowsports Association (SSSA) and is recognised as an official Swiss ski school. Our teaching methods are based on the proven systems of the Swiss Snow League and the Swiss Snow Academy, which are the official teaching models of the Swiss ski schools.
In the Swiss Snow League, we gently introduce children and young people to the world of skiing and snowboarding. Starting in the Snowgarden and the Blue League, beginners learn the basics, which they deepen as advanced skiers in the Red League and finally become true masters of their sport in the Black League.
Our dedicated team of professionally trained snow sports instructors accompanies the young participants on their learning journey. Individual progress is recorded weekly in the personalised Swiss Snow League booklets or in the Snow Academy Cards. This data makes it possible to place the students in the right learning group (league). The final test is included in class and private lessons of 4 days or more.
Children’s final race: the perfect end to the week of lessons
Our ski and snowboard races take place on the Friday of every course week.
Participation in the race is voluntary; individual registration is required. The race includes a certificate and medal for every child and costs 12.00 CHF per participant.
Children who do not wish to take part in the final race are very welcome to attend and support their classmates as spectators. Accompanied by their class instructor, they can stand along the race course and loudly cheer the other children on.
